You Were Made For A Mission

The same mission Christ had on earth, helping people find God, He has now given to you. Your mission is simply to pass on to others the same Good News about God's love that someone shared with you. "In the same way that you gave Me a mission in the world, I give them a mission in the world." John 17:18

Pastor's Message(Previous)

Dear GMC mission participants,

I write this with great excitement because of your great obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that this trip will spur you to do even greater things for God as you move on in your journey of faith.

My own life has been greatly transformed to be more obedient as I have started to do mission trips way back in 1989. I just feel that the need to reach out locally and in foreign lands is so great. Each mission always fires me to do more for Lord and love Him more. I pray that the same will happen to you.

Those of you who are going, you must remember to do it in the powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blood which He sheds on the cross for you must the constant reminder for you to make sacrifice. I pray that you are always challenged by Mark 8;34, “…If anyone would come after and follow me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” You are denying yourself and taking up the cross in a small way. Rest assured that the Lord is pleased with you as you do it by faith.

I like to remind you of GMC vision statement on mission, “Becoming a missionary sending and multiplying church having sent at least 2 missionaries to foreign countries, had 100 members participated in short term missions.”
You are very much working towards it and may the mighty Holy Spirit empower you to go forth.

I shall mobilize the church to pray for you during your length of mission at Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

God bless you
Rev Law Hui Seng
